1. How to request deletion
Email support@auditit.app from the email address on your AuditIt account with the subject Account deletion request. We verify the request against the account address, confirm by reply, and complete deletion within 30 days of verification. This applies to accounts used with the AuditIt web app and the AuditIt mobile app.
2. What is deleted
- Your login credentials and authentication identities.
- Your profile (name and email address).
- Your organization memberships.
3. What may be retained
Audit evidence you captured for an organization belongs to that organization and is not deleted with your account; your personal identifiers are disassociated from it where the evidence record allows. Signed and refused records are tamper-evident and are preserved rather than silently edited. Some records may be retained where law, contract, or an active dispute requires it, as described in the Data Retention Policy.
4. Deleting an organization's data
If you are the sole owner of an organization and want its data deleted as well, say so in the same request. Organization closure is a deliberate, verified workflow handled through support, per the Data Retention Policy and Privacy Policy.
