Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of AuditIt. You accept them when you create an account or continue using the service.

Last updated 2026-08-19

1. The service

AuditIt provides tools for organizations to create condition-audit templates, capture photos and other evidence, obtain signatures or refusals, and generate tamper-evident, timestamped reports intended to support human review and dispute resolution. Reports are an evidence summary with verification checks. They are not a legal certification and do not assign liability.

2. Accounts and organizations

You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Organization owners and admins control membership, plan usage, and settings for their organization.

3. Acceptable use

You must use AuditIt lawfully and only for genuine condition audits. The Acceptable Use Policy is part of these terms.

4. Evidence, signatures, and reports

  • Uploaded media, field values, signatures, and refusals become part of an audit record. Signed or refused stages are locked; corrections use void/replace paths, not silent edits.
  • Server-side hashing and signed manifests support tamper-evident verification. They do not make records court-certified, fraud-proof, or legally guaranteed.
  • Your organization is responsible for obtaining any consent required from customers or signers and for how you use reports with third parties.
  • You and your organization retain ownership of content you submit. You grant AuditIt a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, transmit, and otherwise process that content solely to provide, secure, and support the service. You represent that you have the necessary rights and consents to submit the content and direct us to process it.

5. Privacy

Processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Retention defaults are summarized in our Data Retention Policy.

6. Plans, billing, and limits

Paid features, plan limits, and usage enforcement may apply. Baseline verification of already-generated reports remains available regardless of billing state. Failure to pay or plan limits may block new usage but must not delete your existing evidence or make prior reports unverifiable solely because of billing status.

Watching a rewarded ad is voluntary; one verified reward grants one organization audit credit. The credit is non-cash, non-transferable, and expires at the end of the current billing period. Ad availability, fill, and delivery are not guaranteed. Fraud, manipulation, or other abuse may cause us to reject or revoke rewards. Paid plans are ad-free. Existing records and reports remain accessible regardless of whether you watch an ad or have credits available.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify features, enforce rate limits, or suspend accounts that threaten security, abuse the service, or violate these terms. We may update these terms; material changes will be indicated by updating the date above.

8. Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. AuditIt does not provide legal advice, insurance decisions, or automated liability assignment. You remain responsible for how you interpret and use reports.
